About Us

For 45 years, Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard has provided expert-level care for our Island neighbors facing serious illness and grief. While a percentage of our core hospice services are now reimbursed by Medicare and insurance, we continue to rely on philanthropic support from donors, sponsors, and event participation to bridge the gap between reimbursement and the cost of care.

Your support enables us to offer a wide range of services beyond hospice care that allow us to carry out our mission, including community grief counseling, family grief camps, remembrance events, and palliative care services that are not fully reimbursed by insurance. Thanks to donors like you, we can continue providing these programs with little to no cost to patients and families.
